Pristine Homes and Gardens has developed a range of COVID-19 Guidelines, Management and Action response plans in line with the latest Government advice to ensure best practice in infection control and management of COVID-19.

We continue to monitor the impact and spread of COVID-19. COVID-19 has now spread to most countries around the world. We are closely following developments and advice from various national and international government bodies. In addition, we continually monitor our state and local areas Frankston & Mornington Peninsula and surrounding LGA’s for latest updates and we are aware of what’s occurring within our community.

Our Aim

Our In-Home support staff assist vulnerable people to live and maintain their independence in their home safely through social, domestic, and garden & essential property maintenance support. Our aim is for all our staff who come into contact with clients and members of the community, to work efficiently in a safe manner and to minimise transmission and manage the risk of exposure of the COVID-19 virus to themselves, clients and public to ensure their health, safety and wellbeing.

Precautionary measures include:

  1. Staff testing and logging body temperature prior to each service

  2. Washing of hands – before, during and after shift

  3. Sanitising of hands, throughout the day

  4. Covering mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing

  5. Wearing a mask & readily available PPE. We have stocks of PPE from Monash health for our clients and members in the community in need

  6. Increased staff health/welfare checks

  7. Maintaining a minimum of 4sqm safe distancing in public, and at clients’ home

  8. Maximum of 2 persons in a room where possible when in clients’ home

  9. Cleaning consumables – i.e. cloths, sponges, remain in the client’s homes

  10. Infection response management plan

  11. All Staff completed Australian Govt. Department of Health – COVID-19 Infection control training

  12. Handouts for quick reference in each staff members' PPE kit, as an easy to read flow chart outlining the necessary actions, guidelines and contact points if a client/staff member are showing symptoms or if they are feeling unwell.

  13. Increased education and training with PPE

  14. Increased cleaning of “high touch points” within the home

  15. Record management and communication systems to assist with contact tracing in the event of an outbreak

We comply with government regulations and respect the needs of our clients - above is the case of “Stage 4” restrictions.

We will continually monitor and adapt our services as needed in line with best practice actions for our industry & as instructed by government regulations.
